If your encoded file is out of sync a set amount from start to finish (constant), AVI-Mux Gui: http://www.alexander-noe.com/video/amg/ should fix things on the origonal even though it plays fine on your pc. Drag and drop your origonal file into the top window, highlight it and select "generate data". Now. in the bottom window, highlight audio and the delay will appear in a window to the right. If anything other than 0 appears, select "save" naming the new file what you want and putting it where you want. In a minute or 2, you'll have a new file which is the one you use. Can't help if your sync loss is gradual as I'm looking myself but I have read that VirtualdubMod can be used. I had a problem with it even opening my files. Never used that program, so don't know.
