thanks for replying !! I am not quite sure how to convert them to mp3 as I have never encountered this before. Thanks Right now they are just in a file folder
looks like the other guys have sorted you out; just passing thru and my suggestion is overkill but useful nonetheless. the other day i came across some flac files, hadn't seen any before (turns out they're 'lossless' - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FLAC but i digress). All i wanted to do was burn the audio files to a normal audio cd but couldn't do it as i'd not seen flac files before. I found the easiest way was to find a Nero plugin pack on the net (can't remember where i found it, i googled it from somewhere), this allowed Nero to just burn the files to a normal audio cd on the fly & automatically. I like to keep mp3 files on an MP3 hard drive anyway so i just used audiograbber (freebie) to quickly & easily rip the new audio cd to mp3 files..thenb i just deleted the flac files (i want only mp3 files as they're smaller files than flac etc and sufficient for my poor old ears).
As i say, overkill & not quite what you wanted, but something easy to (maybe) keep in mind just in case...
