DVDfab platinum...what speed do i burn dvd??

I am new to the dvd burning world. I am considering buying DVDfab platinum as i read good things about it on the threads. my question is if i buy dvdfab do i need ripit4me and DVD43 or AnyDVD?? according to it's website dvdfab platinum comes with it's own decrypter and is updated often. do i need something to go along with it or will it work all by itself ?? i've never burned a dvd in my life and i would be very greatful for any help you could offer. i have read the other threads and have learned alot. you guy are great!!

my brother uses platinum to copy it's a great all in one. very easy to use he loves it.
me on the other hand i like freeware.
you do not need shrink if you buy platinum.

hey smurf. if you have platinum, you need nothing else. platinum will decrypt(break the encryption), it will give you a folder with the movie already compressed(if so you desire) and it will take that folder and burn it to a blank disc.

Nero Recode2 or Shrink using deep analysis and AEC/ fabdecrypter or anydvd running in the background/ IMGBurn to burn/main movie only mode= perfect.

just passing thru. i use DVDFab Decrypter (the free one) then DVD Shrink . i use this combo for virtually all my films, they are simply sufficient for my own needs, though of course there are alternatives, paid and free..
