Hello,
im new here so go easy on me plz!
i have a PSP and really want to play some Emulators and stuff so i found out my PSP is version 3.03 and i have decided to downgrade my PSP to play emulators and stuff i have downloaded the software and installed it
on step 5. Navigate to PHOTO in the XMB bit what do i do there ?
i dont wanna Brick my psp so could someone plz help me i look on the link to see whether my psp has that code inside the UMD bit and it doesnt, does that mean i cant do this ?

I dont know what downgrader you think you have, but I downgraded a Sony 3.03 to sony 1.50 Using the Noobz downgrader + Grand theft Auto LCS *unpatched*....
whatever you are trying to do will probably brick your psp, I suggest you do some research by using the search bar at the top of the page before you make an expensive paper weight out of your psp....

i downloaded the downgrader from the link on the first page
yeah i might stop and not downgrade it as i dont want to have an expensive paper weight

As gasconade pointed out you do need an unpatched version of GTALCS as this is the only way to currently downgrade an offical 3.03 PSP.
If you do not have GTALCS DO NOT DOWNGRADE with any other downgrader you might come across

having trouble with this ta-082 downgrade? it wont load on to my psp it keeps coming up with device 0/1 error?
can any one help me out please.

Hey, maybe if i dont actually use the word brick, luck will stay on my side.
but i followed this guide, got everything, up to the flashing point, x'd to accept, now all i get is a green power light. screen doesnt even light up anymore. Actually i cant even turn it off (make the green power light go away)
any suggestions OTHER than 'brick' ??

does anyone know of a guide for a computer retard to downgrade a ta-082 psp from 2.71 to 1.5.
i have been trying the easy downgrader but i cant get the files on to my memory stick.
can someone please heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelp!

I did it today, I´m glad I took the risk. I did it as explained and now my PSP TA-082 is fw 1.50

i have both ic003 on the right and ic6001 on the left of the umd drive. does this mean i have a ta-082 and can i downgrade using this method.

Thanks, first I tried to upgrade to 3.03 OE-C manually, but was impossible (something about a non existing or corrupted dxar file). Then I tried the auto installer. Man, that was EASY

If you have IC1003 then you have a TA-082 mobo

so you are saying no matter what in any combination if it has ic1003 it is a ta-082?
so that means i can use this downgrader safely then right?
sorry for asking so much i just don't have 200$ to spare because this one is brand new. thanks
