Would one of you techno-genius people be so kind as to help me with a problem burning? I've never had problems before but now I'm trying to copy home movies that were already burned onto a DVD-R. It won't copy. There's no protection on it in the first place so that's not the problem. I'll enclose the error file. I have a HP 840 external drive, xp-sp2. I've used maxell and hp discs but I'm hesitant to use my expensive Taiyo-Yuden discs if it's jus configuration problem. Any insight would be really appreciated. Thank You!

Missing the last part of the log - post that part too.
Since you're just doing copies of copies you can use Burning Rom or Express. Both will let you pick the number of copies you need too. Don't really need to use Recode for this unless you're just copying certain parts from the disc.
The Maxell's you're using are good. The log shows them as being made by Maxell one of the better manufacturers.
HP may be another story.
