Action Replay Duo won't read Mario Kart

Hi I was trying to put my friends save on my Mario Kart DS and it won't work.

I have traded saves with other games like Splinter Cell and Wario Ware Touched!

Whenever I try to restore the save with Mario Kart DS I get the error message :

The Game Cart works perfect on the DS just not in the Action Replay Duo. I tried blowing the dust out but still got nothing :(
