You're best using the 'Open Media File(s)' rather than the 'Open IFO File' when you are importing into Mediator as for some reason it gives more control.
The 1.5 GB file you've created is probably the finished movie. Have you tried to play it?
Guess I was a little confused on the file names. I just tried it and it works fine. Thank you so much!

Can I just ask about your audio settings? When you click on 'Configure Plugin' which are you choosing? I'm only asking because choosing the wrong one can give poor audio.

Under the audio tracks there is never a list. The last one I did just said MPEG or no audio so I left MPEG checked. The movies sound fine so far.

That (Audio Tracks) only gives info about the audio track on the mpeg/VOB. I was wondering what the audio was being converted into (Output>Configure Plugin). It's probably mp3 but I'm just double-checking it's not being converted into something else.

I must have been looking in the wrong place. The audio seems fine on the one I did. I'll pay more attention to the next one I do.

It's just that if the audio isn't being converted into mp3 the resulting file will end up being a lot larger than it could be. If you go into Output>Configure Plugin before you begin to encode you need to choose Mpeg Layer 3, 56kBit/s, 24,000 Hz Stereo (7 KB/s). This will 'squash' your audio down to a small size while retaining high quality.
