Hello all,I just copied an AVI to dvd using Cucusoft AVI to VCD DVD MPEG Creator Pro but the play of the movie is horrible. It's very choppy ,like it stops and starts every 5 seconds. Not sure what happened,I just got the program so I might need a little help.I'm trying to burn to a DVD-R and it's plying on a PS 2 if that makes a difference. Thanks for the help.

I thought I would try 4X burn speed with my imation brand dvd disk before I pick up some new ones tomorrow. Same problem runs for 3 sec stops then starts again but it does play on Windows media player with no problem. Is there something wrong with my ps 2 or just bad quality dvd's? Thanks for the help!

Hi there,

After reading a lot of forums, it seems PS2 are real picky.

Use Class 1 Media (Verbatim, Taiyo Yuden) and burn them at x2, x4 MAX

Else you will have issues with your PS2 (So I have read)...

My 2 cents...

It's those Imations disc that's giving you the blues save them for mp3 and data but for movies use Verbatim

when you say good quality disc that worry's me I don't think you understand yet If the disc are not made in Japan they will not work, no matter what Brand, the only brand that will work that's not made in Japan is Verbatim !!
