Hello
I've had some trouble with the case of a system. The case features 4 led's in the corners, I had three different cases so far and each time the led's have worked ok when I first turn the system on but then they turn off (sometimes one by one) over a period of 12 hours or so and eventually there is just one of the corner led's that remain on. I have investigated whether this is a psu problem (system has core 2 duo e6400, 512mb x 2 ddr2800 ram, galaxy 7600gt pcie graphics) and have tried this with 4 different psu's so far, all the same situation. The pus's I first had were 500 watt, the one I have now is 600 watt.
AND (this might be totally unrelated to the lights issue, I don't know) when one usb device is in the system it is powered and works ok, but when I plug another in this new one does not get powered and hence doesn't get recognized by windows. It makes no difference whether the devices are plugged into the usb ports on the case or in the back on the mobo or a combination of the two.
Also just incase this helps, I'm 99% sure the psu should have an led in it, but no light comes out. The problems I had with the other psu's are, the first one the fan stopped and started, brought that back, second one seemed ok, but the shop advised I try a different one or more powerful to see if it remedied my problems, it didn't.
The shop are being very unhelpful, it's getting ridiculous as I've made about 5 trips to return stuff between the cases the psus and the broken mouse I recieved from them.
EDIT: the mobo is a ga-965p-ds3
