hi,

i've recently started to burn using sony DVD+R DL i use dvdfab to crack then use Nero to burn. the dvds play fine on any computer but wont play on any of my dvd players. is there any info someone could throw my way?? any help would be greatly appreciated!!

p.s.

when full copy is made begging previews play fine when it comes time to go to dvd menu it does not play

I don't burn dl (mainly cos of the price of the discs) so I can't speak from experience, but I have read on the Imgburn support forum people posting they are burning with Nero and having problems, but when they try with Imgburn, no problems.

Also Verbatim dl+R are the only brand recommended and don't use -R as the layer break cant be set. I know you haven't - this is just info.

I ran into trouble trying to play 1 or 2 DVD+R DL's in my Sony DVD player, the I put them in a $30 DVD player and they all played fine.

I figured an older DVD player can't play some of the back-ups

But most of them work fine. I use AnyDVD and CloneDVD.

thanks guys for al the info i recently tried upgrading to Nero 7 and using Nero recode and they work fine now and i know those cost alot it sucks! lol but i went to best buy one day and it said 25 dl's for 30 bucks i was like oh yeah it tured out to be miss priced but they gave it to me for that price anyway so it woeks out lol anyway thanks again everyone!!!
