I followed the instructions in this article, where it said that AVI2DVD will process multiple AVI files as long as they have the same file name with "1" and "2" etc. added at the end, and that the same goes for subtitles. When I selected the AVI input file I selected the first file ("blah S1 D1 1.avi") since it only allows you to select one file. Similarly, I selected "blah S1 D1 1.srt" for subtitle input. However, when it authored the DVD, the resulting .VOB files only had the contents of "blah S1 S1 1.avi", not the other AVI files.
What am I doing wrong? How do I get AVI2DVD to process all 11 AVI files? Is it because I did not name the files properly? Or does AVI2DVD allow you to select multiple input files in some way that I'm not aware of?
After much experimenting, it seems to me that Avi2Dvd will only accept a maximum of 10 files for input, not 11. I got it to work with 10 files, but my video input has 11 files. If anyone could
1) suggest a way of joining 2 of the files (or even all 11)
2) suggest a way of making Avi2Dvd accepting 11 files
it would be greatly appreciated.
Meanwhile, I have a different problem with authoring a DVD from the 10 files that Avi2Dvd will accept.
I have been having the same problem with getting my AVI files to group into one iso. I have four files that are called "blah CD1.avi, blah CD2.avi, etc" but it only put the first file in the iso. Do you have to add each file as a separate job and let it run through the queue? As to your problem of combining AVI files. I haven't tried any of the programs but this site has helped me find a lot of stuff: videohelp.com

I'm also beginning to wonder if having avi2dvd installed on a different drive could have anything to do with it... I doubt it, but my files are located in only one directory from the root drive f:\blah\blah CD1.avi for example.
Will someone please tell me exactly what I need to do to get AVI2DVD to process multiple files? When I creat a job with each file, it does them all separately. If I only open the first file of the series, it only processes that file. I'm stumped and I've tried several things to get AVI2DVD to process a series of files as one DVD, so I figure I am doing something wrong. Please help me out...I appreciate it.
I got it to work by giving my files names like "video CD1.avi", "video CD2.avi" etc. and then I only selected the first file however it would only work for a maximum of 10 files (I had 11 files, but it did not process video CD11.avi for me :(
