I just bought a Playstation 2 console and would like some games recommended to me. I want simple, not complex games that are fun to play.

I would like some of the games to be 2-player so that I can play against my wife.

I bought Grand Theft Auto Liberty City Stories, but found it difficult to maneuver, even after buying the strategy guide.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

If you are into Beat-em-up games, then I suggest you to play;

Tekken 5
Dead Or Alive 2
Virtua Fighter 4
Mortal Kombat Deception
Mortal Kombat Armageddon

Or there is also other games you can play;

Gran Turismo 4
Pro Evolution Soccor 6
Metal Gear Solid 3- Substance

Need For Speed Most Wanted

A simple, not too complex game, which has a great co-op two player mode are both Lego Star Wars and Lego Star Wars 2. Due to the easy going element to the gameplay, it is easy for even non Star Wars fans to "pick up and play".

I would say gran turismo 3 instead of gt4 because it is easier to control the cars, dont know if you will be able to find it though.
