I have been having a slight problem with Nero as of late. When i download some video clips from limewire or kazaa or soulseek or whatever and try to add them to Nero to burn them on a disc certain files freeze my Nero up and then when i click on close it says program not responding and i have to end it now. Now i first thought it was the files but i don't think it is cause sometimes when i keep trying to add the same files sometimes some of them will add eventually but sometimes no matter how many times i try Nero keeps freezing up and i have to end now. This is highly annoying.....anyone know what could be causing this?....maybe a certain program running in the background interfering with it perhaps?....i dunno

What do you mean full version number i think you mean this but not sure.....

nero OEM installed version 6.3.1.19
nerovision express 2 installed version 2.1.2.17

Well i just tried an update that was listed inside my Nero edition that i currently have dled but once it dled the updates my Nero startsmart disappeared and it had another icon on my desktop and when i clicked it it had to buy the ultra edition 7....i basically couldn't use it

Another thing.....i bought a sony dvd burner and it had a disc to install Nero....i don't think i have the official Nero software

I gave you 2 links to update your Nero to 6.6.0.18, if you havent tried it then I cant help you further...NOTHING was suggested about updating to Nero 7.

You are talking about Nero 7, these links are for Nero 6...completely different, usually if you have an older version of Nero 6 as you have then you can upgrade...if you want to upgrade to Nero 7 then it costs you$$$$$$$$$$$$$

ok i had to redownload package 1 to get the icon back on my desktop.....if i downloaded package 1 first then package 2 then went back and redownloaded package 1 again...did i lose anything in package 2 by doing that or what?

I hate to post so much but thank you mt friend...i believe you just fixed my problem!!!!! I tried to add 4 of the files that would freeze up my Nero in the program and this time guess what......no freeze up!!!!! Thanks dude.....
