Hey I just got like 10 games and only 6 fully work! Tony Hawk 8 is not even recognized by my ps2 and the other three games (including my most wanted one, fifa 07) load but after the begginging where it says "Playstation 2" the screen starts to flicker and it looks like the screen is endlessy scrolling! Only these three games do it. I tried toothpaste on one but the screen was still messed up! I tried it on the other and it stopped working! Now I don't wanna ruin FIFA 07 so someone plz help!!!!!!!

What DVD burner do you use and what speed do you burn at?

Also which application are you using to burn the games?

no man i mean i purchased them. (mmmm i love chips) (i got them from a vendor in a market in INDIA) if u catch my drift now but if 6 work why do the other 4 not.

They may be dodgy copies. Best thing is to borrow games and then copy them yourself.

Yeah but that would be illegal so stick to only copying games you LEGALLY own.

the fifa 07 problem is a pal/ntsc issue for sure.

"IN INDIA" & "PURCHASE"
That means they are not pressed discs.*
If your PS2's Not modded and you have a old TV
Then you will have these problems all the time
NOTHING WRONG WITH THE DISCS.
Whats up with the "Toothpaste" thing?

I have a feeling it's just the TV screen, if the screen flickers your trying to run a PAL game on a non-compatible NTSC tv or vice-versa that being an NTSC game on a non-compatible PAL television.

Try the games on another television.

I said "i love chips" meaning IT IS MODDED. the tv is about a year old but it's NTSC. i have tried to scratch the disc and then toothpaste it but same prob.

Thats the problem! you don't have a PAL TV!
So the NTSC games work but the games that are in PAL format DO WORK CAUSE YOU HAVE MODCHIP. but cause your TV DOES NOT HAVE PAL they do'nt appear correctly. THERE ARE TWO OPTIONS FOR YOU
1) Modify the games and backup them in NTSC FORMAT.
2)Get a Multi-Format TV.

No amount of SRATCHING & TOOTHPASTING will work.

Valedion, edit your sig to conform to forum specs ASAP. currently is 77,267 bytes instead of 50,000.

i stratched the cd alittle and it went away then i re burned it with a new dvd and it worked fine with no bibrateing screen
