Creating DVD from .VOB files won't play on DVD Player

I am a nubbie to the DVD thing and having an issue: I have .vob files from DVDs that when I burn into DVDs using Nero 7 they may or may not play on a regular DVD player, but will play on my computer using Nero Show. What am I doing wrong?

Hi tabazco99
Couple questions for you - how did you get these vobs to your hard drive. Like did you rip them with something like DVDFab decrypter?

How are you burning in Nero and which option are you using? Like using Burning Rom - dvd video option.
