I have a couple of my favourite DVDs that I would like to somehow extract the audio from and then burn it to a CD so that I can "enjoy" it while in my car. I assume it can be done...can Nero do this?

Hey Gwen
I don't think Nero can but here's a guide from aD on other programs that can.

Never did it myself so let us know how it turns out.

Ah Limewire - spyware, virus, adware etc haven.

Go to trendmicro.com and do the free scan - will take a little bit but does a good job.

I'll have to find the link for another program/site that checks how secure the pc is.

@gwen
Thought I bookmarked that link I was going to post on a pc but now can't find it - kinda ticked cause I ran it every so often.

Here's another little tip - make sure windows shows file extensions.
Viruses & trojans will sometimes disguise themselves by adding on an extension.
Say you download a jpeg (example only) named Prince - windows will show it as a jpeg but if it doesn't show the extension - it may actually be like this: prince.jpeg.exe. The extension on the end after jpeg means bad news - dump that file.

Check in my computer>tools>folder options>view tab. Uncheck 'hide extensions for known file types'.

That has already been done...first scan showed a bunch of stuff...let the prog remove them and now into follow up scan.

Niobis is still to respond to my last post in the Virus forum, hope he has some good news for me.

Some IDIOTS must really get a buzz by creating these Viruses...Sicko's

Yeah it's amazing isn't what some people get their kicks from.
Playback are h*ll cause what goes around comes around :)

I'd dump limewire though - notorious for that kind of crap.
Other ways to download stuff :)

Using IE or Firefox as your browser? If using IE dump that too and use Firefox instead. So much better even security wise.

Hope Niobis has good news for you!
