Heello! Okie, when I downloaded a movie and went to go watch it the Audio is off the video. They aren't in sync. I've looked through previous threads but I haven't seen one like this. I was wondering what am I suppose to do? I tried using VirtualDub and went to interleaving to change the skew. But I have no idea how much ms is off, so I put in a number to try to see if it works. It does, but the audio and video still isnt in sync.

Thanks a lot! ^_^

hey i was watching the replies you got because i have just had the same prob. Converting from DIVX to VCD via VirtualDub and tmpenc i found the audio on the mpeg after tmpenc was about 2 secs out of synch with the audio. I thought it might be because I was fitting to 1 CD so I tried running thru tmpenc on the standard VCD template to 2 cds and had the same prob. I eventually sussed that the original DIVX was ok and decompressing the audio through VirtualDub was giving me the synch prob.
I ran the DIVX thru VirtualDub but saved the audio only as a separate file ('save as wav').
Then i loaded the divx into TMPGEnc as usual (select source file-video file)but loaded the wav file separately (select source file-audio file). hey presto it worked (for me anyway). Sorry if I havent explained very clearly, if you need any further info let me know.
Ps. with regards to Dela's comment me personally I'm using the K-Lite codec Pack not sure if that would help the prob in any way.

Well I've never had a problem with this before. I believe the reason is that the download itself is like that. So I'll just redownload the movie to check it again. But I will try extracting the .wav file and then using it as the audio. Hopefully that workds, or I'll have to redownload it. Thank You!

sorry i got it wrong.. the audio WAS in synch at the begining of the movie but towards the end it eneded out of synch almoast like the audio or the video was stretched slightly! Funny problem as the original DIVX is fine. I'm sure theres a way to sort this maybe someone will see the post and help us both out. ;o)
