how come my movies Skip for ?


I have been using DVDfab Decrypter. and DVD Shrink 3.2.

Burn with DVD Shrink with Nero right after the back up.

people say this is the best way.

one time i try to do it like this - after the back up just save it to hard drive and then add it in Nero DVD Video and burn with Nero not DVD Shrink .

can some one tell me a way to stop the skiping?

only happens about 3 0r 4 time a movie. just skip for a sec and then keeps going. its just looks bad for the movie.

This is usually a result of media/burn speed. Try Taiyo Tuden, Verbatim or any made in Japan. Here is a guide you can look over: http://www.digitalfaq.com/media/dvdmedia.htm 4x for burns is a good starting point and 1/2 the rated speed of the media is a good rule of thumb.

You may need to defrag your harddrive . .

A harddrive in need of defragging can cause all sorts of problems on your burned DVD

. . . and just because Windows tells you that your drive isn't in need of a defrag doesn't mean you shouldn't

Maxell is alright for a cheap disk....but you could do much better!!
I would use maxell for say....set a beer on it or maybe to play frisbe with the kids or something. do yourself a big favor and go get some VERBATEM dvds.
