Hi all
Bit of a newbie to audio, so excuse me if there is a simple answer to this but I have recently bought a DVD player with built it Dolby Digital that has a digital OUTPUT on the back and I want to connect this to my PS2 which also has a digital output. I bought a optical cable and nothing...i assume this is because they both have outputs as opposed to one having an input and one having an output. I spoke to a guy in my local audio shop and he tells me this shouldnt be a problem and should work....im not convinced though so can any of you guys and girs put my mind at rest
