i want hd so im going for an ASUS Commando mb intel quad core or core 2 extreme extreme with OCZ DDR2 2gb 667 mhz ram EN8800GTX video card. would this be any good. any other setups please post thanks

You may consider getting 800MHz DDR2 if you're going to O/C your C2D.
