hello,
i ripped a movie and only kept the vobs and ifo.

i dont have any of the other files. do i need them for dvd2one?

the extras are allready gone its just the main movie's .vob files i will have to compress it a little because its 4.78 GB..

what program do i need to create a dvd-r with just these files.

thanks.. and for those who think this has been answered before... i have spent a long time searching the forums and nothing like this has been answered.. from what i've saw.

U shouldnt delete any files yourself, let DVD2One do this for you in future. Run the VOB only through TMPGEnc DVD Author, you cang et it in the user guide section of the website in my address!

yea i know i shouldnt have done that but i dont have access to the dvd again.. its not here.

the program you suggested seemed like it would work. i tryed it and i added the first vob and it was fine it recognized audio good. then the second .vob i added gave me an error saying that the audio was different from the first vob.

wow! it does the links automatically! i thought you were just taking a lot of time and making links by hand.

so i am thinking i have to join all 5 vobs into 1 so that i can just add the 1 vob to tmpgenc and that will be it. what do you think?

anyone have any other suggestions?
btw thanks for the reply.

Another solution is to run IFOEdit and choose "Create IFOs". Point it to the first of your VOBs and wait.

Thanks, i got the problem resolved by using IFOEdit and creating new ifos and bups.

anyone else who has the same issue should d/l IFOEdit a click create new ifos.. then select the first VOB and it will process all the rest as long as there named right and are in the same folder.

If you originally had all VOB s & the title set IFO file , you can run just them thru DVD2One and it'll create BUP & IFO file(s) for ya...

Just so you know in future
