I have the same problem as the rest of the audible uesrs I want to convert my aa files to MP3 i downloaded river past 6.5 but it does not seem to work. Is this version to high if so does anyone have the old version.

If you can get it to play, I made a guide about Audacity. Audacity will allow you to save in an MP3 format.
