Here lately it's been too many times AnyDVD has failed to do it's job. Now in order to break down a movie you need two or more programs to handle the job, and usally AnyDVD is not part of that process. Is this the end for AnyDVD? Is Slysoft hearing our cries for help? I for one don't want to see this happen, but right now for AnyDVD I don't see a light at the end of the tunnel. What's the next move here? Are there any other progarms out there capable of doing the job of one? I like things to be easy and right now that ain't happing. Help somebody, Saw III has made a pretty deep cut here.

Ye can do the movie only with saw-3 with AnyDVD 6107 or 6111 and CloneDVD 2903
AnyDVD 6.1.1.1 (beta)
http://sandbox.slysoft.com/SetupAnyDVD6111.exe
6.1.1.1 2007 01 20
- New: Added support for new versions of the SONY Arccos protection
(e.g., "Monster House" and "RV", Germany) to the option to remove
"Protection based on unreadable Sectors"
- New: Added workaround for some drives (e.g. TSSTCORP DVD-ROM
SH-D162C) where disc insertion was not always correctly detected
by AnyDVD and decryption would not work.
- Fix: Removing Sony Arccos at the end of a title did sometimes
caused a "Navigation Pack error" or could cause the title to
disappear completely in elby CloneDVD.
- Fix: Bug introduced in 6.1.0.7, disc recognition did not work
correctly
- Fix: Bug introduced in 6.1.0.7, driver could switch into safe mode
without reason
- Some minor fixes and improvements __________________

I've tried 6107 with no luck and I've read where others have tried and had no luck either. So what's your secret? How is it you're at update 6111 and I'm still at 6107? You got something else I need to know? Thanks, but that did'd work(6107).

Everybody is invited to test this beta:
http://sandbox.slysoft.com/SetupAnyDVD6112.exe
The "Saw III (R1)" issue has not been addressed, I am waiting for my original disc to arrive.
From customer reports:
You can copy "Saw III (R1)" full disc with CloneDVD2 when deselecting the "bogus" titles.
You can copy "Saw III (R1)" movie with CloneDVD2 when deselecting with or without menus.
If you want to use another compression program, use CloneDVD2 to rip to harddisk (select DVD-DL as output size, so CloneDVD will not compress).
6.1.1.2 2007 01 24
- New: Added support for new versions of the SONY Arccos protection
to the option to remove "Protection based on unreadable Sectors"
- New: Added workaround for some drives (e.g. TSSTCORP DVD-ROM
SH-D162C) where disc insertion was not always correctly detected
by AnyDVD and decryption would not work.
- New: Added UDF 2.5 support to the UDF parser.
- New: AnyDVD status window shows larger volume names
- New: Recognizes HD-DVD video discs and correctly displays
HD-DVD volume names
- Fix: Removing Sony Arccos at the end of a title did sometimes
caused a "Navigation Pack error" or could cause the title to
disappear completely in elby CloneDVD.
- Fix: Short titles with read errors (Arccos) at the end of the file
were not handled correctly (e.g., special features in "Mirrormask",
Germany)
- Fix: Bug introduced in 6.1.0.7, disc recognition did not work
correctly
- Fix: Bug introduced in 6.1.0.7, driver could switch into safe mode

I have a couple of questions for Ireland. If slysoft has 6111 version
of AnyDVD why haven't those of us who purchased the program been
notified of an update. Is the link mentioned the same as the
usual site where we download updates. Also what is the significance
of it being a beta version?
Also I was reading on another forum that some of AnyDVD updates are
only doing the job if you are also using CloneDVD. It wasn't that
way in the past.
I tried burning SawIII with AnyDVD and it did not work. In fact it
refused to recognize the disc at all. I haven't had this problem
with any of the movies I have done in the past.

I didn't mean to upset you when I asked the question. I certainly
hope I didn't. I'm just trying to understand. It seems I need
a clarification of the term beta. Is that an experimental version
or a version for a special type of machine?
By the way, the reason I asked you specifically was because you
seemed so well informed on the subject and I'm still new at this.

wow thanks for the help...I always back up all of the dvd's I buy and wasnt having any luck....read your thread and it is copying now as we speak. I havent had any problems burning any of my newer movies since I downloaded the free trial of AnyDVD and clonedvd2 so I will probably purchase them after the free trial is up. Do you recommed these programs or are there better options out there?
New to the site, thanks for the help.
