i was about to buy a TV when i checked on "which?" it said the sony:

is better then the samsung at:

is this true? it said the HD quality is better on the sony and overall is better aswell. i am going to use the tv to play my Xbox 360 and watch TV, can i have your view please?

I would go w/ the Sony. It got much higher user reviews too.

Samsung makes Sony's LCD panels. Plus the Samsung has better video processing (the xbox 360 uses samsung video memory chips) capabilities than the Sony. The only short coming is that that the Samsung 51 series LCDs don't have very good speakers. The sound comes out of the bottom of the tv set.
