hello

i use Nero vision express 3 and it takes me 10 hour plus to

burn a dvd.

just say it's a AVI file size 700mb and it's a dvdrip.

it it my computer or a setting or something.

because i do the same thing on my sisters computer and it only

takes 1 hour and a bit.

hope some one can help.

Your DMA may be off or in PIO mode, heres a guide to turn DMA back on

my DMA was not turned off and was not in PIO mode.

is there anything else i can do.

It could just be that you have a slow burner.
Or maybe you don't have a lot of system memory.

I dont think that is is even a consideration, there are a few things we can check in the log.

This version of Nero contains some bugs, uninstall, run this clean tool http://ww2.nero.com/nero6/en/Clean_Tools.html and then install this more stable version, BOTH packages

You will always have problems burning DVDs, it is recommended to have a minimum of 512mb RAM, I would suggest you add a further 256mb.
