I want to have my IDE HDD as the primary boot device and my SATA drive as the slave to add some additional space. The operating system is on the IDE drive and i want to keep it that way. The problem is that i cannot see the SATA drive in my computer or disk management. All help is appreciated.

check in the bios. reconnect both power & data cables to the sata drive.
