Hello everybody. I don't know if this is the right category to post this but here it goes:

I buyed like 4 or 5 years ago a Mustek DVD player that is still working. however, one time i opened it because some disc got stucked inside and then i discovered that the player was some sort of computer dvd unit "naked out" (this means that i saw all the mechanism but in the back it connected to the rest of the dvd player,"the board" via SCSI cables). Right now i had bought a dvd burner and in the second slot is my old dvd burner so i got a spare dvd (read only) unit for my computer. I was wondering if there is a way (maybe like that internal to external dvd or hard drive boxes i have just recently saw) to convert this unit to a dvd player for my tv. I know that with an non- functional Xbox maybe this can be achieved but it's kind of unpractical. i am thinking a cheaper or practical solution. Any thoughts?
