Hi, I'm setting up my first plasma/home cinema. I have a choice to make with my budget......a Panasonic th42px60 or a Samsung ps50q7hd. Ive made my mind up on the home cinema...a Samsung ht-p1200. Ive also ordered Sky hd. The Samsung home cinema dvd has a HDMI conection but the Samsung plasma has only 1 imput. The reviews on the Pany are great and it has 2 HDMI imputs but i can get a 50'' plasma for just over £1000 and that is tempting. If anyone can give me some advice i'd be mast thankful.

Well you want 1080i or 1080p for sure a good resource for user reviews is pricgrabber.com it will also compare prices for you to make sure you're getting a good deal also something to consider is connection options with a very large screen you may not care if you can hookup your pc but definetly would like to have at least 2 HDMI one for the dvd and one for tv source. good luck
