PC game torrent - need help!

I downloaded Resident Evil 2 for PC from BitTorrent. I have NO IDEA of how to actually play the game. I have searched the forums and found some helpful info, but I still feel blind. If someone could help me by laying out what I need to do(as if you were talking to a retarded ape) I would be forever grateful. Also, I need to know of some free burning software to use (Nero type stuff). I know you need it, but have no idea how to use it.

u dont need any burning software, just download Daemon Tools 4 then you want to install it, open it and set one virtual drive. Then emulate all protection, and mount the image to Daemon Tools ;)

What does that mean? I truly have no idea what I am doing. I did just find out, however, that my friend has Nero and will let me put it on my computer. I heard that is the best program to use, but again have no idea on whether or not I am right.
