tuner for a PIP or split screen?

Is anyone aware of an adapter or tuner that can create pip (picture in picture) on a non pip enabled tv. or maybe a split screen so you can view 2 shows at once? I have a HLS6186W and samsung only seems to have 1 expensive model tv with pip. the others dont...
