I am still having major problems with my sagem dbox.

My brother tried a rescan, and now i am only picking up about 45 channels.

When i rescan with brutforce is searches 303 transponders, but when i try sattelite it searches about 180.

But i have got no Sky sports 1, 2, or 3, no movies, no no uktv etc.

Strangley i do pick up setanta sports, the adult channels, sky sports extra.

But a load of channles are missing.

I am in the glasgow area.

Can anyone please help me.

Do you have a cross over cable?( you need that to load the files i was going to send you onto the box), But If not then you could try this Press dbox on your remote goto service, then service scan

make sure the settings look like this

scan for services - all services
Boquet- leave current
cable provider - Bruteforce
fast scan - off

I have tried that scan with the remote mate, but it only picks up some channels.

I dont have a cross over cable, do you have any idea where i could get one?

ebay would prob be your best bet, im sure the lights of maplin have them in stock

You can also get one in B&Q, & Argos!

thanks guys, i will need to try to get one of these cables, i was hoping i could do it via the remote?

I take it this cant happen?

sorry about the questions, but it has worked perfectly since i got it, until my bro decided to mess with it.

Nah mate the only way to load files onto the box is through those cables.

Hve you tried reloading the channel data or epg/ Mine went off last night and only came on when I reloaded the EPG. Worth a try.

Yeah worth a try, it looks like hes done something to his boquets or service file. Some of the data perhaps became corrupt.

Should be in the EXTRAS menu or SERVICE menu.

Tried it mate, still no joy.

Looks like i am going to need to take it somewhere and pay to get it sorted.

That about 1 month without it now, and its really doing my head in.

Check which options you get in the provider line inside the scan menue.
If you get something like sym6887 use that option, disable fast scan and start the scan.
