Hope someone can help, my computer crashed and when i restarted it it just wont come back on at all. I keep getting check signal cable message come up. The lights on my tower are on and ive tried 3 different monitors and it keeps saying the same thing, so it seems to be the tower although the power is going to that because the lights on the tower are on, ive checked all the cables. I hope someone here can help.

thanks

open it see if any little or big cables might have unplugged.
Does it allow you to get to the Bios?

Check the cable between your monitor and video card. It must be loose.

does it appear to be going thru it's boot sequence but just nothing on the screen? try reseating the videocard or try another videocard even a pci version just to see if works or not.

I think it could be the same problem ddp helped me out with, have a look Kala21 - http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/463203

I had to reset the video card a few times but it worked in the end.

Good luck
