Is this correct because i thought that is was ment to run at 412:700 default?

the numbers r off, first it actually is 378:460 cause the ram frequency u have to multiply it by 2 one way to fix it would be overclocking the card to its "normal state"

dude look the first number is the gpu "clock" (the speed of the proc of the video card) the second is the ram frequency (the speed of the ram) so when u say "Would this be at all dangerous overclocking the memory to 460?" im assuming u ment the gpu clock first overclocking it to 460 from the original 412 might b to much since the card might b producing lots of heat (thats probably y its underclocked)

Yea i got it wrong my bad.

Anyway i tryed it at 412:230 and my pc restarted so i opened it up and removed a pci card which was pressing right against the card and now it seems to be alright running at 412:230. But still my defualt values are 378:230 and i'm receiving benchmarks lower than a 9600xt.

Yes but my default speeds show up on ati tray tool as 378/230 i've overclocked it to 412/230 which is the correct setting right?

It sent my screen all fuzzing and wen tested had over 1100 artifacts

BTW if its any help my pc specs are

2700+ xp (socket A)
512mb, 3200 RAM
and a 230watt power supply

After reading up it turns out that the problem could be from an over loaded power supply or over heated card.

So i have ordered a antec neoHE 430watt PSU and a Arctic cooling ATI silencer 3 do you think this would fix the problem?
