I downloaded a AVI of city of god, a film that I own on DVD accept the DVD is in very bad shape... cat stepped on it... work out the rest

the AVI came with a subtitle file, .srt

I would like to know, how to make the AVI so that the subtitles are always there.. as I am going to be watching it on XBMC

So, from this srt file, how do I give the AVI 'permanent' subtitles?

well I found a tutorial, and it worked...

its strange, the guy in the tut is using the same film as me :P
