hey there,
i have a fast internet connection, its around 10mg, or something like tht, 8-10. My downloads are pathetic, they are varying between 0.1kb/s to 30kb/s, which isnt right... Im using Utorrent as a downloader, and dididave.com for the torrents.
im using a netgear router, and ive read some fourums about opening ports, but im clueless about what they're saying, telling me to go to some dodgy sites...
Anyway, would be nice if u could help me speed up the download speeds.. (BTW: Nothin to do with antivirus not allowing it acces)(norton)

You have to port forward your router as well as set a static ip address probably. Go here, find your router and click on it. On the next page, find your program, click on it and follow the instructions: http://portforward.com/english/routers/p...routerindex.htm Here for a static ip address: http://portforward.com/networking/staticip.htm Your ISP could block torrents as well, probably negating any changes you make. Who is it in case anyone knows?
