M3 Perfect SD problem

Just got a M3 Perfect SD slim and it boots fine in my DS Lite. Tried it in two different GBA SP's and it won't boot up at all. Do you think it is defective or am I doing something wrong?

did you try blowing dust out of the gba's game slot and/or the M3.
