Which version should I use???

Stomp Record Now Max 4.50

(Which actually says Veritas when you open the program but it is stored in a Stomp folder within windows.)

or

Veritas Record Now Max DX 4.60 + pxengine 408 ???

I have been using the first one with no problems burning DVDs.
But according to something I read the second is a better piece of software.

Please advise.

According to the website the pxengine408 update is only for version 4.6.
That may explain why some people have had problems with 4.5 if they have been appliying the update to 4.5 rather than upgrading to 4.6 before upgrading the pxengine408.

I read this quote about the 4.6max/dx versions too.

I'm doing fine on either Nero 5.5.10.42 or RecordNow DX 4.50 .

Usually use RecordNow DX for DVD-R on my Pioneer 104 as it aides firmware (I can burn at X2 no problem , whereas Nero gives an outer edge error)

P.S. RecordNow DX 4.50 is in an Orlogix folder but still shows Veritas on opening screen...

I use Stomp Record Now 4.50; same as you have.

I always believe that if it isn't broken then don't fix it. So, if it's working for you why change it?
