when im playing fear this box comes uot saying that it has a problem and it has to close it starts fine its in the place were you get smacked by the guy that eats people and then u return .

Try going to an earlier save point and playing up until that point.

I had a similar error in Half Life 2, and using a slightly earlier save point solved the problem.

that is right in the beginning, not sure how many save points there are before that. Is this a retail copy of the game?
I hve played through about 75% so far with no glitches at all.
and i assume that your PC has the minimum requirements to run the game?
If all else fails you can uninstall it and re-install it to see if something got messed up there.
