Why are the DMAs off on your optical drives? Check the link below to turn them on.

If that doesn't help, make sure the firmware for your burner is up to date.

Firmware is current so that is not a problem.

Far too much memory in use, you need to add further memory as 512mb is recommended minimum. In the meantime dont multitask.

I figure that i was probably stuffing too much on one dvd, so i merged 2 smaller mpg files on the same timeline, so that i only have 6 files and 1 menu....and 8 hours later, the burn process was successful :)
