Hello everybody,
Have enjoyed reading loadsa posts from 2003 onwards and here we are in 2007. OK I am at home on an Asus pentium d 2.66 desktop with an adsl 256/128 connection, in Thailand.
It costs about 15$ per month and I can download at the whopping rate of 25Kbs, if I limit to 1 D/L.
From everything I've read, that is as good as it will get.....correct?
My difficulty is moving existing torrents from B'lord to Azureus without them starting from zero. I've read the Wikipedia but still can't manage it.
I will be very flattered by anyone who replies.
Thx

OK, your max downlaod speed is 30 KB/s so your doing pretty well for yourself at 25.
Why would you need to transfer torrents?
Stop using bitlord, its full of spyware and malware.

Simply coz I want to migrate from B'lord where I have 7 movies in varying stages of download. I wish to continue them in Azureus, and kick B'lord into touch, without losing all my past efforts / electricity.

make sure bitlord and azareus have the same place to save the .torrent files then go to the same tracker u started with and download again with both clients open.

Or a more simple solution, just click "open torrent file" in Azureus, get the right torrent, and then change the download folder to where bitlord saved the incomplete download, then hit ok.
Azureus will then check the amount of downloaded stuff and continue where bitlord left off.
If that doesn't work, then either your downloads are corrupt, or infected with god knows what...

It is all so incredibly easy...eventually. I wasn't gonna give up.
My mistake was not editing the !bc extensions of all the files in the folder of all the films.
Bit like riding a bicycle I guess....once learnt , never forgotten.
Appreciate ur help especially seeing how you always seem to reply to even the most often repeated questions.
I promise I'll never ever ask about D/l & U/l 'ing speeds HeHehe
