*edit*

ds extreme is nice if U dont wanna carry a lot of games with and it's not possible to add more memory while with the M3 you can.

Yeah really, DS-X doesn't have much of any advantage over the M3Simply or R4DS.

2x1GB might be cheaper, but 1x2GB is easier =)
I know I don't like to cary round more memory sticks than I have too, just as I don't want to carry around more games than i have too, which is the second reason for me buying the M3 :-D (the first being Homebrew)
Also a thumbs up for the M3 here too. The DS-X is just too much money for what it is compared to the M3.

It's easier to carry less cards. If you buy it from newegg, you can get a 2gb sandisk for less than half the price you would pay for a 1gb at a store.

jgarces07:The shoulder buttons on my DS (not Lite) are not working. Any advice?
nintenut:This is going to sound a bit odd, but it works, put your lips around the trigger and blow really hard, it works.
bee_cup: My DS Lite L button don't work...
nintenut: Put your mouth on it and blow, gets the dust out, and sounds obscene!

LoL. Thanks, XbusterZ.
There is another microSD compatibility list at the M3 Wiki, however most entries are just copies of the Scorpei ones. Compatibility issues are in no way directly related to the microSD card capacity.
I almost hate anything to do with the words "compatible" or "compatibility" now. D:
P.S. Nice features list for the DS-X. :)

- Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin is THE problem game - success dependent on your brand and type of microSD card.
- Tony Hawk's Downhill Jam (all releases) slows down in-game on all microSD cards (haven't heard otherwise)
All other errors, such a non-working Download Play, are not dependent on the microSD card used but rather the adapter (firmware, voodoo magic, et cetera).

alright thx dude i better check the list before i buy but heres the problem i looked at the list and i come across this (looked the 2 diff lists)
SanDisk 1GB 1.02 Freezes while playing Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin
* SanDisk 1GB (FAT16/64k)
o WORKS with Firmware 1.01
o Castlevania Test: 5 of 5
can anyone confirm if PoR freezes or works perfect on sandisk 1gb because thats the card i am thinking of getting.
