i have two burners in my computer and i notist when went to Nero recode i went to burn with g:optiarc dvdrw-ad-7170a
the writing speed wos

3x
2x
1x
then when go to my f:_nec dvdrw_nd_355oa it says
16x
12x
8x
6x
4x should they be the same or not or do i have to get some sort of firewire

Did you have a disc in the optiarc drive when you tried to select the burn speed? Those look like some default speeds.

yes i did i get it now when u put a disk in one drive it promt's it self to the speed write
