hi
i am having some burning problems with Nero 7.
some movies it will download others it says unable to insert the file.
could anyone tell me how to get around this problem as the movie plays fine on the pc

Where are these movies from? Download or ripped from DVD?
If ripped from a DVD it could be that all of the protection hasn't been removed during the rip.

i have already done all this and once a click on open to get the file i want burning it comes up with UNABLE TO INSERT THE FILE.
do they need conveting or something although they are AVI and all my other AVI ones i have burnt.

Hi gwendolin,
I'm having the same problem, i'm not able to insert my file.
I've done it this same way every time and this has never happened.
Your tutorial as is alkohols, is excellent and how i learned to use Nero,however it does'nt apply here.
here is the file, can you see anything wrong?
Employee.Of.The.Month.DVDRip.XviD-iMBT.[www.torrentfive.com].avi
when i choose to " add files"
it gives me an error ssying "unable to insert"

Hello huys it has something to do with the file format being XviD
check to see if your files will play in media player, iam haviung the same problem.
These files do burn to disc as i have been doing it for the last 2 months all of a sudden its started to stop doing it

webster you downloaded your employee film from goem yes
I have burned that same copy to disc as xvid/avi and it worked fine

great site have alook www.goem.org wicked for films and very fast dls
1,000s of films and people have to seed or they lose there priveleges.
Im hoping to have an answer to our problem soon.......for months my Nero would load XviD files and burn with no problem but has just gone on me think i may have installed something which has clashed, maybe you have some other software for burning which clashes with Nero like roxio

Thanks, I'll check that site out.
I have'nt installed anything new for there to now be a problem.I use DivX movies, player and converter, I also have GSpot installed.As well as codec.

Still downloading, I just saw another thread gwendolin posted on, and he hasnt helped anyone, but moaned at someone for posting another thread,he didnt help him so what does he expect. He thinks ppl dont know how too use Nero when they obviously do, its easy to point out easy reasons ( which will never work) just annoying someone would waste ppls time and then moan when they post aonther thread, through lack of help
