I keep getting the following error when I try to add a video file to Nero Vision Express 3. R6025 - Pure virtual function call.
I upgraded yesterday to the latest Nero 6 version (pack 1 & 2) and am still having this issue. I used DVD decryptor to rip and Nero to burn to DVD.
I have done this before using Nero 6 VE3 without a probem. I am just tyring to make a backup of my DVD movie.
Below is my log file...please help! Thanks!!

Wow, that has to be the longest Nero history logs post I have ever seen. Can you please go to the pen and papaer icon at the top right side of your post, click on it and then edit out ALL the logs there except the one that failed you and concerns you, click Save Changes and then I will take a look.....Reading so many logs is far too time consuming.

Now I see the problem...
I can't show you the latest because the "Nerohistory" file you pointed me to has a modified date of 2/25/2007. That is the last time it worked Correctly.
I just tried to add a file into NVE 3 and the following happended:
I simply try to add DVD decrypted files to NVE 3 I get the R6025 error at like 90% import. So I never even get a chance to burn...so I believe that is why the "log" history record you pointed me to does not show a record of this....
Please help!

OK that error is a new one to me. I did notice in your logs that you were using CMC Mag discs, possibly memorex...they are horrible discs, I use and recommend Verbatim or Sony (made in Japan)
Also you were burning at 16x which is way too fast...I burn at 4X.

thanks for the tips...however, the DVDs that I have been burning are working ok. (mostly use Verbatiim). The problem is that I can't even get to the burning process. I am just trying to import/Add the files to NVE 3 and I get the error. Essentially, it is the first step in the process. The error I get is..
Runtime Error!
R6025
-pure virtual function call
again..thanks so much for your help!

I just typed this error
Runtime Error R6025 pure virtual function call
into google and came up with 66,500 hits, so it is obviously more common than I thought. I was unable to find any mention of this error being caused by a Nero program though.
I found one relating to Roxio, I cannot recall if your log showed you had Roxio/Sonic installed.
EDIT: Just found one at CD freaks concerning Nero, posted in October 2006...NO REPLIES
Another Edit: Maybe you can post this in the Windows-General Discussion forum
I dont know if you can edit an edit but here goes...if you type this in google
Runtime Error R6025 pure virtual function call Nero
It reduces the hits to 177...good luck
