how do you get a cd burner to burn dvd's ??

i have read a few places that there is a way to "trick" your cd burner to burn cd's. i am wondering if anyone here knows how this can be done? thanks

You want the long or short answer??

Short: You Dont!

Long: CD Burners are not designed to burn DVD's. The laser would need replaced and re-calibrated, etc............

you can fit about ~15 min of mpeg 2 on a dvd or ~105 min of MPEG 4 and it will play in your set-top as long as it supports VCD am i right?

Dont think so, just tried it to no avail and my player has the very latest DVS Loader (Best loader available)

I have a feeling that droid wanted more than 15mins of film RiPsTeR...

Mpeg4 will not play on most DVD players
