hi, for some time now ive been using my pc to run my ipod but have recentley bought a mac ibook g3 series for work which currently has mac os x 10.2 on it, now as you all know to run my ipod video on my mac i must install itunes 7 and have mac os 10.3 (which im not planning on buying) on it to run itunes 7. And to top it all off my itunes no longer works on my pc even if i reinstall it, it just comes up with load of crap and debugging etc it basically will not work.
i have put all my music files onto my mac and have recentley found out you can change it to hardrive mode and use third party software to handle music, video's etc with ease.

My question is, how the hell do i change my 30g ipod video into hardrive mode without itunes at all. I hear people telling me of maybe a way of manually doing by pressing certain keys on the actual ipod? And secondly i keep being told to use floola and other programs on my mac but cannot seem to find anywhere to suitably download it, i have tried floola's official site but all i get is a load of programming text on a page and no actual program.

please any help would be appreciated, i can imagine this may have been asked before but im new to all this and have no idea where to look, apple services doesn't tell me, can anybody help?!!!!
