uTorrent download speeds

I am wondering what speeds (up and down) people are getting with uTorrent. It would help me, and other less experienced p2p users, to know what we can aim for after tweaking and the like.

I currently have an 8mb (althoug my hub ISP reports a 6700ish kbps down and 400ish kbps up) connection with a BT homehub and I have followed every single tweak guide I can find but still manage a maximum download of 150kbps and upload of 35kbps.

Are these speeds normal? I am not on any private trackers and dont know anyone on one so that is not an option. I usually use torrent spy and mininova search engines.
