another illegal disc error thread, sorry i just cant read the logs properly, here's my log:

just remembered, used to use Nero 6 which came with a ricoh burner, wouldnt be used with other drives only ricoh ones. upgraded to Nero 7 without running clean-up.

This looks like Memory Tech media according to the supported media list for this drive. Try Taiyo Yuden, Verbatim, Sony (made in japan) or TDK discs. I don't know of anyone else using this particular media.
It sure wouldn't hurt to run the clean tool and reinstall.
The log looks odd because there is a 19:32 minute gap. Did you leave for a while and then come back and put the DVD in?

You should try a different burning program as well. Ripit4me uses DVD Decrypter to burn with. This would take Nero out of the loop. You should try it if you haven't already.
