I'm going to ask some obvious questions:

1) Does she have WEP enabled?
2) Does she have WPA enabled? If so, it could be that you're wireless card doesn't support WPA.
3) Who setup her wireless setup?

Yes Wep is enabled, as the whole network is wireless for the other house m8s, the router is mainly set up using Wep from what i can see, because the landlord set up the router who is a retard and wont give us the password to it.

I am by no means a wireless expert, but I'm pretty sure that you need the WEP key to be granted access. Was your girlfriend given the key or did the landlord set it up for her?

As stupid as it sounds, make sure that the drivers for your wireless card are the most recent.
