Hi im a first time user i have a question i would like answered.

I downloaded CSI: Miami Season One and there are 24 AVI files that i need to burn onto a DVD but when i try and use Nero Vision Express it will only let me put 2 files on the dvd. I know i wont get em all on a dvd.

Is there any program out there that will do the same to AVI files as DVD Shrink does to a dvd?

what i need is a program that will take a bunch of files from the hard drive and will make them smaller so that more AVI files will fit onto the disk wihtout giving up a lot of quality.

sorry if i posted in wrong forum, if i did let me know correct forum so that i can post in the correct one.

Best way is to burn them as data. Then you can play them on pc and dvd player that support divx/xvid files.

And if you want to keep some of the quality, you do not want to put more then 3 of them in to same dvd...
Try ConvertXtoDVD (or look other guides in guide -section.

Im sorry wont happen again :)

anyways, i came across a program that lets me turn AVI files into VOB files its called Ashampoo Shrink & Burn

now i have to find out how to burn the VOB files to a dvd

will htey burn multiple at a time on same disc? i have 6 files i need on one dvd

you can use dvdshrink and burn movie/episode only and you can get 2 or 3 movies onto a DVD-5. there wont be a menu or anything like that. as far as episodes go im not sure how many you can put on there. i have put 3 dora the explorer movies on 1 disc for my sons they were just over a hour each adn i got 3 of them on 1 disc.

according to the shrinking i dont with ashampoo, i shrank hte AVI files enough so that 6 can fit per disk. i will give it a try and see what happens when i get home from work
